Electric Cult comenzó originalmente a mediados de 2015 por iniciativa de Ángel Ochoa (guitarra) y Guillermo Pérez (batería), sin embargo diferentes situaciones fueron postergando el poder avanzar con el proyecto, el cual se retomaría a mediados de 2017, siendo el mes de agosto cuando tomaría forma la banda al integrarse Rafael Llanes en el bajo y David Reyes en la voz, debutando el 14 de octubre.
